catching up

things have been crazy lately.
school is really kicking my ass.
not knowing where we're moving to yet because everything is up in the air.
work is getting harder.
we went to philly last weekend. it was a blast. pictures are on my facebook.
im missing my friends like crazy. haven't had a chance to do much of anything lately.

i was up LATE last nite getting everything together for a 8 minute mass. it was completly worth it. this was really important to me for a number of reasons. my faith, my heritage, my breaking away from my dads family and showing myself i can do fine by myself. i feel great.

we didnt get home til 2am and then i started working at 8.

snow storm 2010

here are some pictures from the past 30 hours or so. we are now up to 21".

Holy snow storm!

Well the past 12 hours have been a blast. We're finally getting a snow storm that we're long overdue for. There's about 5 inches outside so far. Different news staions are calling for possibly 18+ inches. I'm camping out at my house til I have to go to school on Thursday, I swear. I've been taking pictures throughout the day. I suppose I'll eventually post then here.

Now on to a night of Star Trek (ugh, it was so much better in theatres) and cuddling with my husband in our nice warm house.

UPDATE

I am told I don’t update this often enough. Good thing I have a bad ass Iphone and of course there's an app for Blogger! So hopefully I’ll be able to update more.
School is getting tricky. With the plan to be in Erie right after my summer semester wraps up, I will need to go to nursing school there. I applied to Penn State but didn’t have a chemistry class done yet so I’m not sure if I’m getting in there. It’s dumb though because I’m going to be taking that class during the summer. Whatever. So tonight I’m going to apply to Gannon and Edinboro too just in case. And if those don’t pan out, well then I get to be a year behind in my plans since you can only start your nursing clinicals in the fall. But I guess I can take this as an opportunity to bring up some of my grades and take some more unnecessary classes these colleges feel like I need that CCBC doesn’t think I need.

I’ve been working an abnormal amount of overtime to pay our bills and just give us a little “cushion” in our bank account. There is a never ending workflow of appeals so I’m happy that there is always an overtime opportunity.

We have been re-doing the house with any free time left. I give credit to my mom and my husband for the majority of the work since I’m working a lot of the time they have been doing things. I really want to be able to sell this house fast. Also hoping to find a house in Erie to rent quickly too. I have QUITE the list of things I want/need out of this house:
*dishwasher
*central air
*2-3 bedrooms
*backyard (bonus points for it being fenced in)
*no garage needed but a bonus if we have one
*not that much carpet in the house, mostly hardwood floors
*fireplace?! (that is an extreme bonus, will be thrilled to find one)
*allows cats/dogs


Just a lot to think about in a relatively short amount of time.
I wish I had a social life.

FRIDAY THE 13TH---$13 TATTOOS!!!!!

so because the economy sucks, people are more intersted in putting food on their table than getting tattooed. completely understandable. so needless to say, joe hasnt been that busy at work.

so he came up with this idea and i think its a cute way to get people in the shop and make some money:


all together it come out that the whole thing costs $20.00 this friday only.
not that much of a profit but at this point we're using the spare change jar to cover any expenses....

so if you know anyone in the eastern ohio/pittsburgh/northern west virginia area, please share!
